Things to do during lockdown Part 2

 Things to do during lockdown

 Part 2

Bored again!? Done trying out the Part 1?

Here's another list of things you can do during lockdown and say 'Adios' to your boredom!

Here you go!

1.  Start with a movie spree or something

Since, all day long there's nothing to do, you can probably think on starting with a movie spree.

Download your favorite movies and schedule out your own home theatre! Watch the movies you've long wish listed, moreover, entertain your family with this free service by asking them to join your movie spree.

And yes, not to forget the popcorn!

2.  Remember board games and cards?

Ah! You probably threw away those board games like last year or maybe five years ago or maybe even long ago but if you haven't why not take them out now!

Board games are fun to play and can be a good source for some fun time to have with your family while at home.

Indoor games is something we can do with right now and finally are these board games coming back in trend.

It'll be fun to play some board games during lockdown!

3.  Incline a little towards Self Care

If you are someone who has been busy with the hustle and bustle of the daily then probably it's time to incline a little towards self care.

I know, you've been overlooking self care for a long time now but its best you start caring a little about yourself.

Maybe try detoxing drinks, schedule a self care routine or something. Bet it'll help you improve a lot and is probably the best thing to do during lockdown.

4.  Make home made scented candles

These days, scented candles are everywhere, everyone's been talking about them so why not try making some, that too, at home itself!

Just grab some of your normal stocked up candles melt them and add your favorite scent (whichever available to you) and finally pour the mixture to a glass jar or a metal container with a thread insert and there you have it - Your very own homemade scented candle!

5.  Video calling friends and family for an online get together!

(not recommended for introverts)

It must have been a long time since you last visited your family and friends.

The best thing to do is to ask everyone to join a video call and have some fun together online.

It'll help a lot in rejuvenating the times prior to the lockdown and will provide everyone with a relief of support and joy.

Making someone's day is the best thing you can do, so try video calling them and making them feel better with a small talk.

6.  Try searching for your long lost friends on Facebook and elsewhere

If you are super bored that you don't really feel like getting up and doing something well then, you can probably just sit and search for your old friends that you've been missing since long!

Maybe you'd just end up finding your friend from long ago.

7.  Help a little with the household chores

This is something which we needed to add, as we do not consider this as something to do since many of us tend to consider chores as a boring task to do.

But hey, you need to do just a little bit of it.

Doing the dishes once won't hurt nor would helping with the laundry or a little dusting would!

So, get up and get going to help finish some of the household chores.

8.  Rearranging the furniture

Now is the best time to rearrange all the furniture.

Basically, plan out what belongs where and start moving the furniture around.

Did you know? Under Feng Shui it is said that moving furniture allows the positive energy to flow and circulate throughout the house.

So, maybe you can try that, and yes, thank us later if you end up finding something you had lost under your bed long ago!

9.  Try scheduling the day to push away the slumber

We've all gotten lazier and this continues to go on as the lockdown extends. But hey, it's time we push away the slumber.

Before going to bed tonight plan out your day for tomorrow. Stick to the schedule you outlined. This'll help you to not procrastinate anymore and help you to finish the work on time.

Scheduling will also allow you to track the completed work and the work to be completed.

10.  Try out some DIYs

There are tons of videos on the internet that you can try for your DIY activities.

These'll keep you engaged and will help you put to work some of your skills.

Maybe you can try some origami DIYs or even mask making or basically anything that you prefer doing.

This is another best thing to try out during lockdown.

11.  Ever tried meditating?

Well, it's been a lot and we've all been stressed out due to the situation that has come up out of nowhere.

Well, meditating may help in relieving the ongoing stress and help you attain peace of mind.

Meditating works best if you try it in the morning, but real early.

Maybe 6 a.m. would be the perfect time for meditating. Maybe you could just club meditating and yoga together for a perfect start of the day.

12.  Being thankful to the ones out there risking it all for our safety by penning a thank you note!

No cleanliness worker has been on leave, nor have the healthcare workers.

It's our duty to let them know, their work is appreciated and well it couldn't be valued with something that can be given.

So, why not write a thank you note to them!

You can make their day, why not let your househelp or the cleanliness staff of your society know how hard they work and how much the society appreciates their work!

So, this is another list of things that you can do while at home during lockdown!
